If you have been following the rumors and updates you will know about the Samsung Galaxy S23 is a sequel to the S22 – It means that it will follow the same spec recipe save for a few part upgrades. Based on the Geekbench result, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has a promising performance. However, it also showed that the next-generation model will work with 8GB of RAM, just like 2020, 2021, and 2022 phones. Below is a little Samsung Galaxy S23 specs based on rumors.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 specs rumors
According to a Leakster, Yogesh Brar has shared a summary of the Galaxy S23 specs and tells the same tale – 8GB of RAM, 128/256GB storage. Moving to the next part, the new device will have a main camera of 50 MP with OIS, the ultra-wide 12 MP and the telephoto 10MP, and a selfie camera of 10MP. That means the device will have the same cameras as the S22. The difference will be the new optics and sensors. It will involve new processing, thanks to the better and more powerful chipset.
Design of the Galaxy S23
According to the rumors, you will also enjoy the device with the presence of a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, together with a 1,080 x 2,340px resolution and it is still not LTPO. Ice Universe also claims that the bezels will be thicker than the predecessor.
We have seen from the renders that the design will be redesigned. So, it is more in line with the coming of the S22 Ultra. The Ultra S23 will have the same look. We have seen that in the case designs. There will be no camera island anymore.
If you check out the back part of the device, the Galaxy S21 got the S20 cameras. But, Samsung will put them in a redesigned body. The S22 will also reuse the design, but the camera will get some upgrades.
Now, we are moving to the design of the device. It will get a new design but with the same cameras. Samsung will upgrade cadence to complete the Galaxy S series, but for the vanilla and the plus models. If you want to see major changes, then you should wait for the upcoming Ultras.
At this point, we have one big question. We still do not know whether the Samsung S23 series will get a Snapdragon chipset exclusively or not. Otherwise, the Exynos team has shown their colleagues to give them another hit.
The new generation will come with a larger 3,900mAh battery, well, bigger relative to the S22. But the S21 and the S20 both have 4,000 mAh.
It will also support the same 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. Samsung and Apple have been very conservative when it comes to the charging speeds of their devices, especially the smaller products. But, the rumor keeps flowing. A reliable tipster Digital Chat Station stated that the charging is disappointing with 25W. This matches the previous leak from Chinese Compulsory Certification (3C).
Information about the specifications and features of the Galaxy S23 lineup is still scarce. But, at the end of the day, we cannot wait to see the device with a new design to complete new chipsets.
